Born for the Athlete

CrossFunction Sports Massage was founded when a standard massage was simply not cutting it. As an athlete, the owner had nagging pains from her sport, and decided there was much more to massage than one standard flavor of movement that could be repeated at any location. Each person is unique, and each sport brings a unique component to its beauty. The owner vowed to be the best Sports Massage Therapist possible, and to create a team of Sports Massage Guru's who have been there on the field/court/gym, now choosing to help others in their pursuit of greatness.

CrossFunction Sports Massage was Born for the Athlete.

We use a variety of applications including pin and stretch, ART, kinesiotaping, triggerpoint, swedish, IASTYM/scraping, and other techniques within a session. Each session is completely tailored to each client and their needs.

A session can be in shorts and a tank top, which is general to most athletic settings, or in a regular massage format.

If the client consents to team communication, we work exceptionally well with their team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Sports Medicine, Chiropractor, Coaches, and other organizations or team members to assist in a well-rounded solution.

Our team is committed to continued learning and bringing awareness in the latest technological advances within the sports massage community, and providing the best athlete recovery care in the region, and eventually nation.

Anne studied at Discovery Point school of Massage starting in 2019, and has been working with chiropractic and acupuncture specialists ever since, striving to help alleviate aches and pains, and restore functional movement.

After a lifelong love of sports, including everything from diving to bodybuilding, she discovered rugby, and has been playing for the past ten years, accruing several injuries along the way.  Experimenting helping her own body function as best it could led her to pursue massage, with the hopes of learning how to best prevent and recover from injuries and help others do the same.

Anne loves working with the intricate structures of the body to explore what patterns and structures are involved with each client's concern.
